The National Park Service will turn 97 on Sunday, Aug. 25th and to celebrate their waiving entrance fees at all 401 national park units.
Grand Teton National Park will be serving birthday cake at noon at each of the park’s visitor center and offering 20% off all items sold at bookstores. They’re also hosting a traditional guitar sing-along and free evening program at 8:30 p.m. at the Colter Bay amphitheater.
The fee waiver will only apply to entrance fees and will not affect use fees for camping or boating.
