Colorado State head football coach Jim McElwain inherited a mess in Fort Collins when he took over the program two years ago. It wasn’t easy last season for the Rams, and at 2-4 so far this year, it’s still in a rebuilding mode for Rams’ football. Wyoming head coach Dave Christensen says it’s a similar situation to when he took over things in Laramie nearly five years ago.
As the Pokes and the Rams head into the 105th edition of the Border War tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, Christensen says it’s clear to see that CSU is an improved football team and they’ve made the commitmentt to getting better down there.
Wyoming try’s to stay unbeaten in the Mountain West and win their fifth straight game over CSU when they host the Rams in Laramie at noon tomorrow.
