Defensive Rebounding Has Been a Big Focus [AUDIO]

Wyoming Cowboy basketball coach Larry Shyatt wasn’t concerned with offensive rebounds this season.  Instead, Shyatt wanted the Cowboys to focus on defensive rebounding, and getting 70-75 percent of those rebounds in games.  In a lot of non-conference games, the Cowboys were meeting that goal.  But to start Mountain West play, the Pokes were not good at Nevada in that rebounding category.  It’s not going to get any easier when Wyoming hosts New Mexico Wednesday night, as the Lobos possess one of the best frontcourts in the country, according to Shyatt.  He says they will have their hands full tomorrow night on the glass.

Wyoming hosts New Mexico tomorrow night in Laramie.  Tip off in the Arena Auditorium is set for 7 pm.
