The 90th Missile Wing hosted a 60 Minutes film crew March 24 thru 28. According to a release from F.E. Warren Air Force Base, the crew spent two days scouting locations around base and three days shooting video clips for a story.
The crew had the chance to visit a launch facility and a missile alert facility to get a better understanding of what the missileers go through each day and learn what it is they do to accomplish the mission. Airmen from the 90th Security Forces Group Tactical Response Force provided a demonstration of a launch facility at the uniform-one training facility. The 37th Helicopter Squadron showcased their unique skills by providing transportation for the crew, traveling from base to the MAF and LF.
