CODY, Wyo. — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has captured and relocated another adult female grizzly bear this past week in the northwest part of the state.
The bear was captured Wednesday for killing livestock on a U.S. Forest Service grazing allotment west of Dubois.
It was captured and released in a portion of the Shoshone National Forest about 5 miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park within the North Fork of the Shoshone River drainage west of Cody.
The release site is located in currently occupied grizzly bear habitat.
