A cool front and weather system will slowly move across the state of Wyoming today. This weather system will continue to control the weather across much of the region on Tuesday. For today, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with noticeably cooler and closer to average temperatures. Daytime highs will remain in the 60’s and 70’s. Scattered rain showers are also expected throughout the state today and overnight. Watch out for heavy rain at times later this evening and overnight, mainly across southeastern Wyoming. We could also see some areas of patchy fog and reduced visibility in central and eastern portions of the state overnight into early Tuesday morning. Expect more clouds than sun, areas of patchy fog, and even more rain showers for central and eastern Wyoming on Tuesday. Temperatures will also remain cool and near the average for this time of year. For western Wyoming, expect partially clearing skies with only a small chance for rain showers. Temperatures will become a few degrees warmer and above normal. Higher pressure will then build over the entire state of Wyoming on Wednesday, which will keep skies mostly sunny and conditions mainly dry. Unseasonably warm temperatures will also be found statewide.
