A large low pressure system will continue to control the weather across the Rockies and Plains today and Thursday. Within this weather system, there will be two weather disturbances, one today and another on Thursday, that will slide across the state of Wyoming. For today, expect cloudy skies, gusty to windy conditions, and significantly colder temperatures statewide. High temperatures will be in the 20’s and 30’s. Heavy snow could still be possible at times into the early afternoon hours, mainly in central and east-central portions of the state. Otherwise, expect light to moderate snowfall statewide. Blowing and drifting snow will also be a concern, especially for central, east-central, and southeastern Wyoming. Travel concerns for the entire state include poor visibility and icy, snow-packed roads. We will continue to see cloudy skies, gusty to strong winds, and light to moderate snowfall on Thursday. Temperatures will also remain cold and below average.
