A strong ridge of high pressure will be settled over the state of Wyoming today, Wednesday, and Thursday. However, there will be a small supply of moisture that is transferred into the region by Thursday due to an approaching low pressure system. For today and Wednesday, expect sunny to mostly sunny skies, light to breezy winds, and near or slightly above normal temperatures. High temperatures will remain in the 50’s and 60’s, with some lower 70’s possible by Wednesday. Conditions will also stay mainly dry through mid-week. We will then see slightly more cloud cover, breezy to gusty winds, and a small chance for showers and thunderstorms (mainly in western and southern Wyoming) by Thursday. Temperatures, however, will be even warmer and above normal. A Pacific low pressure system and cool front will slide across the region on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Cooler and even more unsettled weather will be found throughout the state during this time.
