The percentage of Wyoming high school seniors ready for college increased with the 2015 class.
A report released Wednesday by ACT shows that 22 percent of the 2015 graduating class met college readiness benchmarks in English, math, science and reading.
That is up from 20 percent of the 2012, 2013 and 2014 classes.
The Wyoming graduating class of 2015 had an average composite score of 20.2 on the ACT, a slight increase from the year before.
English was the best subject of the 2015 class with 60 percent of the students meeting benchmarks, followed by reading at 40 percent, math at 36 percent and science at 34 percent.
Wyoming students that indicated an interest in science, technology, engineering and math majors or occupations met more readiness benchmarks.
