High pressure will remain over central and eastern Wyoming today, while a low pressure system approaches western portions of the state. For central and eastern Wyoming, expect partly to mostly sunny skies, breezy to gusty winds, and warmer than normal temperatures. Highs will stay in the 30’s and 40’s. For western Wyoming, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies and a small chance for snow. Temperatures, however, stay above normal. Highs will also be in the 30’s and 40’s. This large low pressure system will then continue to push into the rest of the state tonight. Light to scattered snow showers will be found across western and south-central Wyoming, while there will be a smaller chance for snow elsewhere. This low pressure system will remained settled over the entire region Thursday through Sunday. There will also be a series of faster-moving weather disturbances that pass through the state during this time. Expect cloudy, overcast skies with light to scattered snow showers statewide. There will also be two cold fronts, one on Thursday and another on Saturday, that bring bitterly cold temperatures to the region.
