The large trough of low pressure that has been settled over the state of Wyoming for the past few days will slowly move out of the region today. However, we will continue to see cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Heavy rain could also be possible at times, which could create some areas of flash flooding. Temperatures will remain cool and near or slightly below normal, with daytime highs in the 50’s and 60’s. We will be in between weather systems on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect partial sunshine with warmer and closer to average temperatures, but there will still be a chance for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms. Another weather system and cool front will then move into the region on Thursday and Friday. This will cause clouds to thicken and there will also be a better chance for rain showers and thunderstorms. Heavy rain and flash flooding will also be possible for the end of the week. Temperatures will become cooler and slightly below normal by Friday.
