Our latest cool front and weather system will quickly move out of the state of Wyoming early today. Higher pressure will then start to build overhead by the afternoon and evening hours. There could be a few lingering rain showers across far northeastern Wyoming this morning. Otherwise, expect increasing sunshine and improving weather conditions for the rest of today. Winds, however, could still be breezy to gusty at times. Expect wind gusts between 20 and 35 mph. Temperatures will also be even cooler and well below the average for this time of year. Expect daytime highs in the 60’s to lower 70’s. High pressure will continue to be the main weather feature throughout the region on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. We will see sunny to mostly sunny skies, breezy to gusty winds, and mainly dry weather conditions during this time. Temperatures will be warmer and closer to average on Saturday and Sunday, with daytime highs in the 70’s and 80’s. Expect unseasonably warm temperatures (70’s to mid 80’s) by Monday.
