Don’t forget the stocking stuffers

Christmas will be here before you know it, and if you’re like me, you always forget to find those little gifts that fit in a stocking. Thankfully, Sportsman’s Warehouse has a bunch of ideas for that.

Every Christmas, I somehow manage to find the perfect gift to wrap up and put under the tree for my wife. It takes several months of thinking, researching, asking leading questions, and finally shopping to accomplish, though. And when I’m doing all of that, I completely forget to find little things to put in her stocking. Now my boys are getting to an age where a couple Matchbox cars aren’t going to cut it, so I have to find good stocking stuffers for them, too.

But there’s hope. There are now four Sportsman’s Warehouse stores in Wyoming – Casper, Cheyenne, Gillette and Rock Springs.

Just inside the front doors of the Cheyenne store, I found several options for handwarmers. In my house, handwarmers are always a big hit. They have the disposable kind, and they come in value packs and assortments, including body warmers and foot warmers, for about $10. They also have the reusable Zippo handwarmers, that run on lighter fluid, and those little suckers will warm your better half’s hands up quick The Zippo model is about $22. They also have the Elements Firecell, which is a combined handwarmer, flashlight and phone charger, for about $50.

If you have a fishing fanatic on your list, grab a couple Stick Jackets. These are like socks for a fishing rod, that keep a rigged rod’s line from getting tangled. They’re a brilliant idea, and they’re only about $4 to $10, depending on the version you get.

You could pick up boxes of .22 ammo, Magpul AR-15 magazines, or just about any fly tying ingredients you could dream up. And the list goes on and on. Sportsman’s Warehouse truly is a one-stop shop for your stocking stuffing shopping.
