Morning Show Host/Program Director
Montgomery Broadcasting LLC located in Cheyenne, WY is looking for an experienced morning show host/program director for our news and sports station, KFBC AM/FM in Cheyenne. KFBC is a heritage station having first gone on the air December 5, 1940. KFBC is a CBS Sports affiliate and flag ship of both the Cowboy State News Network and the Cowboy Sports Network. We are looking for an experienced individual that loves talking to state and community leaders on-air, interacting with listeners during the morning show and being a part of the community while representing the station. Strong interest in and a knowledge of sports is essential and play-by-play experience is beneficial.
Duties include but are not limited to; hosting two-hour morning news and information show Monday-Friday, remote broadcasts and community appearances, writing stories each day for our website and social media sites and producing commercials, promos and liners. Strong commercial production skills are essential. Successful candidate will also oversee the on air day to day operation of the station. Knowledge of Digilink or similar automation systems and computer production and editing are desirable. This is NOT an entry level position. Salary is commensurate with experience. Medical insurance and paid vacation are available.

Montgomery Broadcasting LLC located in Cheyenne, WY is looking for an experienced news director for our news and sports station, KFBC AM/FM in Cheyenne and the Cowboy State News Network (CSNN). CSNN is a statewide news and sports network with approximately 50 affiliated stations. KFBC is a heritage station having first gone on the air December 5, 1940. KFBC is a CBS Sports affiliate and flag ship of both the Cowboy State News Network and the Cowboy Sports Network. We are looking for an experienced individual that loves both local and regional news, loves interacting with state and community leaders, and loves being a part of the community while representing the station. Strong interest in and a knowledge of sports and play-by-play experience is beneficial. Duties include but are not limited to; gathering, writing and presenting news on both KFBC AM/FM and the Cowboy State News Network, writing stories each day for our website and social media sites. Strong on air presentation skills are essential. Knowledge of Digilink or similar automation systems and computer production and editing are desirable.
