Montana State head football coach Brent Vigen knows the Wyoming personnel quite well. After all, Vigen isn’t that far removed from leading the Cowboy offense. During that time, especially the last couple of years, the Wyoming offense struggled to move the football and generate explosiveness. Vigen is very familiar with the players that the Cowboys will put out on the field, and even though the Wyoming offense will be re-engineered, he knows that the primary focus will be for the Pokes to run the football.

“There healthy, and they’ve got depth on the offensive side. They’ve got some real weapons on the perimeter, and I suspect they will use them some,” said Vigen. “At the same time, they’ve got an arsenal of backs and an experienced offensive line, so they’re certainly not going to be throwing it all over the lot. They’re going to hand the ball off a lot to the guys that know what to do. I suppose I have a sense–Tim (Polasek) and I worked together quite a bit back at NDSU–but, I’m sure there’s a wrinkle here or there.”
