Kebin Haller has been named the new head of the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
Haller is deputy director of the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
He takes over the patrol on Sept. 21.
Haller graduated from Rawlins High School and the University of Wyoming with a degree in Administration of Justice.
He worked for the Rawlins Police Department before joining the DCI in 1997.
He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, an executive board member of the Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area and Past President of the Wyoming Peace Officers Association.
Haller replaces Col. John Butler, who retired June 1.
