A cool front and weather system will continue to slowly move across the state of Wyoming today. A small supply of subtropical moisture will also be transferred into central and southern Wyoming. Expect more clouds than sun, breezy to gusty winds, and closer to average temperatures throughout the state today. Daytime highs will stay in the 70’s to lower 80’s. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will also be possible central and southern Wyoming. Watch out for brief periods of heavy rain and lots of lightning with any storm that develops. Meanwhile, conditions stay mainly dry for northern Wyoming. Higher pressure will then build over the region on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Expect mostly sunny skies with warmer than normal temperatures statewide. However, there will still be a chance for showers and thunderstorms due to lingering low-level moisture and daytime heating. Cooler and even more unsettled weather arrives on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
