It appears that the Wyoming Cowboys are moving quickly on a new offensive coordinator. According to several reports, both national (Adam Rittenberg w/ESPN) and local (Michael Katz w/WyoSports), Tim Polasek will be the new offensive coordinator for the Cowboys.
Polasek will replace Brent Vigen, who left earlier this week to become the head football coach at Montana St.
Polasek has a relationship with head coach Craig Bohl, as the two were at North Dakota St. together from 2006-2012. Polasek has been coaching the offensive line at Iowa since 2017. Ironically, Polasek’s first game at Iowa was against Wyoming.
Polasek has also coach running backs, tight ends and quarterbacks during his coaching career.
