A large trough of low pressure and cold front will continue to push across the state of Wyoming today into Wednesday. Expect cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, breezy to gusty winds, and colder temperatures statewide today. Highs will be in the 30’s and 40’s. Light to scattered snow or a rain/snow mix will be possible in western and central Wyoming. Rain will develop elsewhere and will then mix with and turn to snow by the evening and overnight hours. Moderate to potentially heavy snow is expected throughout the state tonight through about mid-day on Wednesday. The heaviest snow will occur in central and eastern portions of the state. Poor visibility due to snowfall and blowing is expected and roads will likely be icy and snow-packed. Temperatures will also be even colder and well below average on Wednesday. Another round of snow will arrive late Wednesday into Thursday.
