Weak high pressure will build over the state of Wyoming today. Expect mid and high-level cloudiness, but conditions will be mainly dry and unseasonably mild statewide. High temperatures will stay in the 40’s and 50’s, with some lower 60’s possible. Winds, however, will be breezy to strong at times. Watch out for wind gusts between 25 and 40 mph at times across the more wind-prone areas of southeastern Wyoming. There will be a fast-moving weather disturbance that passes through the region on Thursday. This will create slightly more cloud cover and only a small chance for rain, mainly across southern portions of the state. Temperatures will also be a few degrees cooler, but it will remain warmer than normal. Higher pressure returns to the region on Saturday. Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies, mainly dry weather conditions, and very mild temperatures for the start of the weekend.
