High pressure will start to build over the state of Wyoming today and will remain settled over the region through the end of the weekend. Expect plenty of sunshine, light to breezy winds, and mainly dry weather conditions throughout the state today, Saturday, and Sunday. Temperatures become cooler and will remain near or slightly below normal statewide today due to a cool front that passed through the region yesterday. Expect daytime highs in the 60’s and 70’s, with some lower 80’s in the far eastern Plains. We will then see warmer and above normal temperatures across the state this weekend. Temperatures will remain in the 70’s and 80’s. A series of passing cool fronts and weather systems will then move across the Rockies and Plains during the first half of the work week. This will make temperatures cooler and near or slightly below normal Monday through Wednesday. We can also expect breezy to gusty winds and possible shower and thunderstorm activity during this time.
