A dying tropical disturbance will slowly approach the region throughout the day today. Expect early sunshine and then clouds will begin to thicken during the afternoon and evening hours statewide. There will be a small chance for showers and possibly a few thunderstorms across far southern and eastern portions of the state, mainly in the evening and overnight. Conditions stay mainly dry elsewhere. Temperatures will also remain unseasonably mild, with daytime highs in the 70’s and 80’s. This dying tropical disturbance will move across far eastern portions of the state on Wednesday. We will see partly to mostly sunny skies with another chance for showers and possibly a few thunderstorms. Elsewhere, expect minimal cloudiness and mainly dry weather conditions. Temperatures will also remain mild and slightly above normal throughout the state for the middle of the week. Higher pressure will then build over the region for the second half of the work week, which will keep skies mostly sunny and conditions mainly dry. Warm than normal temperatures will also continue during this time.
