A ridge of high pressure will build over the state of Wyoming for the rest of today, Friday, and Saturday. Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies, breezy to gusty winds, and mainly dry weather conditions during this time. Temperatures will also remain very warm to hot and well above normal. Daytime highs will stay in the 70’s and 80’s, with some temperatures close to 90 in the lower elevations of central and eastern Wyoming. There will be a slight increase in fire danger into the start of the weekend due to warm temperatures, gusty winds, and dry weather conditions. By Saturday evening and night, a low pressure system and cool front will approach the region. This will cause clouds to thicken and winds could gust between 25 and 35 mph at times, especially across central and eastern portions of the state. There will also be a chance for rain showers for far western and northern Wyoming. Cooler and more unsettled weather will be found throughout the state on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
