High pressure will continue to be the main weather feature across the state of Wyoming today and for much of the day on Saturday. Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies, warmer than normal temperatures, and mainly dry weather conditions. High temperatures will remain in the 30’s and 40’s, with some lower 50’s possible across lower elevations. Winds will be breezy to gusty at times today, but no significant gusting is expected. Winds will then increase and could become strong at times on Saturday across the more-wind prone areas of southeastern Wyoming. Expect gusts between 35 and 50 mph, with some gusts up to 55 mph on I-80 near Arlington. A low pressure system and cold front will approach the state on Saturday night and will then slowly move across the entire region on Sunday and Monday. Expect cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, breezy to gusty winds, and colder temperatures during this time. Light to scattered snow showers and some areas of blowing snow are also expected statewide, which will cause roads to be slick and icy. Visibility will also be reduced at times.
