University of Wyoming parking permits for the 2024-25 academic year will be available for renewal for employees and board retirees beginning Monday, July 1.
Employees and board retirees who held active permits during the spring semester may renew their permits online between July 1-10. Current waitlists have been cleared and will reopen beginning Monday, July 15, for those who desire to purchase a different or new parking permit.
Parking lot changes for the fall include the conversion of the Orange Zone 203 section to the west of the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts to Orange Zone 204 and the lots to the east of the Arena-Auditorium and north of the Rochelle Athletics Center off Willett Drive to Orange Zone 205. Permits for these zones will be available for faculty and staff members to purchase on a first-come, first-served basis beginning July 15.
Parking permits for residential students will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning July 15. Parking permits for commuting students will be available Thursday, Aug. 1.
To order a permit online, go to www.uwyo.edu/transportation. Online permit purchase options are available via credit card. Payroll deduction is available to benefited employees. Cash and check payments can be accepted at the UW Transportation Services office, located at 1602 E. Spring Creek Drive in the South Express Parking Lot.
Benefited employees can apply for personal reserved parking spaces. These spaces cost $1,320 per year. Reserved space holders also must purchase and hold the appropriate zone permit for the reserved parking space location. Reserved spaces are subject to availability, and they may be prioritized and assigned based on campus needs.
