Very Warm & Dry In Western Wyoming, Seasonal With Strong To Severe T-Storms Elsewhere

Higher pressure will start to build over the state of Wyoming today.  Expect partly to mostly sunny skies throughout the state.  Conditions stay mainly dry across western Wyoming, but there will be a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms for central and eastern portions of the state.  Any storms that develop could be strong to severe and capable of producing hail, gusty winds, lots of lightning, and brief periods of heavy rain.  Temperatures will be warmer than normal across western portions of the state, with daytime highs in the mid to upper 80’s.  Elsewhere, expect warm and close to average temperatures, with daytime highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.  There will be a better chance for showers and thunderstorms across central and eastern Wyoming on Wednesday and Thursday.  Once again, strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible.  Meanwhile, conditions stay mainly dry in western Wyoming during this time.  Temperatures will also be warmer and slightly above normal statewide.
