Higher pressure will be settled over the state of Wyoming for the rest of this week. Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies and mainly dry weather conditions today through Friday. Temperatures will be cold and near or slightly below normal today, with highs in the 20’s and 30’s. Unseasonably mild temperatures will then be in the forecast on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Expect breezy to gusty winds today and Wednesday, especially across the more wind-prone areas of I-25 and I-80. Some blowing snow is also possible on I-80 near the Arlington/Elk Mountain area, which could reduce visibility at times and will continue to keep roads slick in places. Winds will then increase and become strong for much of central and southeastern Wyoming on Thursday and Friday. Otherwise, expect no major travel concerns for the rest of this week. Colder and more unsettled weather will then arrive late on Friday and continue for the upcoming weekend.
