High pressure will be the main weather feature across the state of Wyoming for the rest of today and Thursday. Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies, warmer and above normal temperatures, and mainly dry weather conditions. Winds, however, could become strong at times across some of the more wind-prone areas of central and southeastern Wyoming. Watch out for wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph. High temperatures will be in the 30’s and 40’s, with 20’s possible in the mountains and valleys. Some lower 50’s will also be possible across the far eastern plains on Thursday. A low pressure system and cold front will then move across the region on Friday and Saturday. We will see slightly more cloud cover and strong winds during this time. There will be a small chance for snow across the mountains and far western Wyoming on Friday. We also cannot rule out flurries or light snow showers statewide on Saturday. Temperatures will remain warmer than normal on Friday and will then become colder by Saturday.
