Warmer Than Normal & Mainly Dry Through Saturday, Not As Hot Starting On Sunday

High pressure will be settled over the state of Wyoming for the rest of today and Saturday.  Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies, breezy to gusty winds, and mainly dry weather conditions statewide into the start of the weekend.  Temperatures will also be very warm to hot and about 10 to 20 degrees above the average for this time of year.  Daytime highs will stay in the 70’s to 80’s, with some 90’s in the eastern Plains.  There will be a slight increase in fire danger during this time due to warm temperatures, dry conditions, and gusty winds.  A cool front and weather system will then approach northern and central Wyoming on Sunday.  This will bring slightly more cloud cover with a chance for rain showers and possibly a few thunderstorms, mainly on Sunday evening and overnight.  Temperatures will be not as hot for the end of the weekend, but it will still be warmer than normal.  For southern Wyoming, expect minimal cloudiness, well above average temperatures and mainly dry conditions on Sunday.  Another cool front will move across the entire state on Monday.  Expect partly sunny skies with developing rain showers statewide.  Temperatures, however, will remain warm and above normal for one more day.  Cooler and closer to average temperatures arrive on Tuesday.
