A wildfire again has closed the south entrance to Yellowstone National Park and caused park employees to evacuate from the area.

Yellowstone officials say U.S. Highway 89/191/287 remains closed after strong wind caused a major flare-up Sunday evening. The same fire forced the closure of Yellowstone’s south entrance for more than a week in late August.

Park officials say all park employees are accounted for and safe. They’re optimistic that cooler weather and higher humidity on Monday will help firefighters trying to bring the flames under control.

The fire has burned more than 32 square miles of woodland between Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks.
