JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — A Boy Scouts antler auction in Wyoming took place online this year after being postponed due to the coronavirus. The Boy Scout Elk Antler Auction usually happens every spring in the town square in Jackson. Boy Scouts gather the antlers from the nearby National Elk Refuge. Proceeds in recent years have topped $100,000. Twenty-five percent goes to the Boy Scouts and the rest to the refuge, which uses the money to buy alfalfa pellets to feed elk during the winter. This year’s auction was part of a fall arts festival and took place online Sept. 9 through Saturday.
