The Wyoming Cowboy basketball team was looking to snap a four-game losing streak, as they were scheduled to be at Utah St. this week, for a two-game series with the Mountain West leading Aggies. That series has now been postponed due to health and safety concerns, according to the Mountain West Conference.
The Aggies’ game with Fresno State was also postponed last weekend. Utah State leads the league, at 11-2, while the Cowboys are 4-8 in Mountain West action.
This is the second series that has been postponed for Wyoming, as their games with UNLV, scheduled for late December in Laramie, were also postponed.
There is no word on when the games could be made up. Wyoming is scheduled to play New Mexico next week. Those games will be played in Colorado Springs.
