The body of 34-year-old David Pease was found on Saturday outside his trailer home behind T-Joe’s Steakhouse and Saloon east of Cheyenne. The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office reports that Pease did not have any clothing on and a large knife was found about a foot away from his body.
Authorities do not know if the knife was connected to Pease’s death. An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday and the case is still under investigation.
Pease was a dishwasher at T-Joe’s and was last seen by co-workers late Friday night. When he did not show up for work on Saturday, they went looking for him and subsequently found his body outside his trailer in the campground behind T-Joe’s.
T-Joe’s is located east of Cheyenne off I-80 at the Archer exit.
