A weak cool front and weather system will continue to slide across the state of Wyoming today. This will make temperatures not as warm and closer to average for northern, central, and eastern portions of the state. Meanwhile, unseasonably warm temperatures continue in far western Wyoming. Daytime highs will remain in the 70’s and 80’s. We will also see sunny to mostly sunny skies today, but there will be a small chance for showers and thunderstorms. The best chance for precipitation will be in far northeastern parts of the state. Higher pressure will then return to the region on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect minimal cloudiness with slightly warmer temperatures statewide. However, there will be a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms across central and eastern Wyoming. Any storms that develop could be strong to severe and capable of producing hail, gusty winds, and brief periods of heavy rain.
