Bail Denied For Suspect In Park County Murder

Bail has been denied for one of three people charged in the death of a 30-year-old man who was found decapitated in northern Wyoming.

The Cody Enterprise reports 27-year-old Sandra Garcia appeared in court Friday for the death of 30-year-old Juan Guerra-Torres, whose body was found Jan. 9, 2014, in Park County. Guerra-Torres was shot several times, decapitated and was missing his left arm.

Garcia, whose preliminary hearing is set for May 18, was Guerra-Torres’ girlfriend and the mother of his children.

Garcia, 51-year-old John Marquez and 28-year-old Pedro Garcia Jr. have been charged in the death.

Marquez is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, while Sandra Garcia and Pedro Garcia Jr. are each charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and aiding and abetting first-degree murder.
