A series of fast-moving weather systems and monsoonal moisture will continue to control the weather across the state of Wyoming today. Expect early fog and clouds and then skies will partially clear during the afternoon and evening hours. Rain showers and a few thunderstorms will also be likely across western and southern Wyoming, while scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected elsewhere. Heavy rain and flash flooding will also be possible, mainly across western and southern Wyoming. Temperatures will be slightly warmer for northern and central Wyoming today. However, it will still be a few degrees below average, with daytime highs in the 70’s. For western and southern Wyoming, temperatures remain cool and well below normal, with daytime highs in the 60’s and 70’s. Cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, cooler than normal temperatures, rain showers, and a few thunderstorms will be likely statewide on Wednesday.
