BAGGS-Baggs Game Warden Kim Olson is looking for information about a spike elk poached during the cow elk season in hunt area 21.

“I investigated a poached spike elk, killed around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, in hunt area 21,”Olson said. “The poaching occurred in the McCarty Canyon area. I know there were other hunters in the vicinity. A calf elk was legally harvested in the area and I am hopeful that someone saw something that might help me solve this crime. It is not too late for the shooter to do the right thing and turn themselves in.”
