The state of Wyoming will be in between weather systems today. Expect mostly sunny skies, mainly dry weather conditions, and unseasonably mild temperatures statewide. Highs today will be in the 40’s and 50’s. Winds will lessen for the rest of the day, but could still be strong at times, especially across southeastern portions of the state. High winds (gusts between 50 and 60 mph) will be possible in the southeast corner through the early evening hours and then expect wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph tonight into early Wednesday morning. For the rest of the state, winds gusts will generally remain between 35 and 50 mph. An upper-level weather system will quickly move across the region on Wednesday, which will bring another round of very high winds and mountain snow to the state of Wyoming. High winds (50 to 60 mph gusts) will be possible by early morning and will only increase Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday morning. Gusts up to or exceeding 65 mph will be possible across the more wind prone areas. We can also expect partly to mostly sunny skies and warmer than normal temperatures.
