Temperatures will be mild through today and even Tuesday, with small chances for brief mountain showers. A cooling trend is expected during the end of half of the week with more unsettled weather likely. Western and southern parts of the state have best chances for any isolated shower activity. Weather charts are suggesting a strong low pressure system may come to fruition by Thursday, bringing clouds, cooler temperatures and some precipitation to southern and eastern parts of the state. Certainly the weather is looking cooler and more unsettled for the end half of the work week and into the start to the weekend. Temperatures will likely cool into the 50’s and 60’s for daytime highs by Wednesday and Thursday, statewide.
