A Montana man has died after being ejected from a vehicle during a crash on Highway 335 near Sheridan.
Authorities say 25-year-old Derrick Coversup of Billings died early Monday morning.
He had been riding in the front passenger seat of a small sedan when the vehicle drifted off the highway. The driver then overcorrected, causing the car to roll.
Coversup was ejected and sustained fatal injuries.
The woman driving the vehicle, 27-year-old Avis Blacksmith of Sheridan, was treated for injuries at a nearby hospital. Twenty-three-year-old Billings resident, Lakendra Maxwell had been riding in the backseat. She was taken to Billings for treatment.
The crash continues to be investigated.
