An upper-level weather system and cool front will continue to move across the state of Wyoming today. The main concern with this weather system will be strong to very high winds. Starting later this afternoon through early Wednesday morning, winds across central and eastern Wyoming will gust between 50 and 65 mph. Elsewhere, expect wind gusts up to 50 mph. We will also see more clouds than sun, noticeably cooler temperatures, and a small chance for rain and mountain snow. High temperatures will remain in the 40’s to lower 50’s. Higher pressure will then build over the region on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies and mainly dry weather conditions statewide during this time. Winds will be not as strong on Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will also be cool and near or slightly above normal for the second half of the work week.
