Our latest weather system will slowly move out of the state of Wyoming today. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies, breezy to strong winds, and cooler than normal temperatures statewide. High temperatures will remain in the 40’s and 50’s, with some lower 60’s possible in the eastern plains. There will be only a small chance for showers and thunderstorms today, mainly across northern and eastern portions of the state. Higher pressure will then build over the region on Thursday and Friday. However, lingering low-level moisture and daytime heating could trigger a few showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, expect sunny to mostly sunny skies with warmer and closer to average temperatures. Another round of cool and unsettled weather will arrive this weekend.
