Wyoming Cowboy basketball has the opportunity to be really good this year. They’re going to be a deep team, that will have the chance to have many different lineups on the floor. But, there’s only so many minutes that head coach Jeff Linder can divvy up. Linder says it’s up the the players to prove to him why he shouldn’t take them off the floor.
“To have that type of competition everyday in practice, knowing that there’s 200 minutes in a game, amongst five players, I can’t play each guy 20 or 30 minutes. I tell them everyday that it’s up to them to make it to where you give me no choice but to play you. And once I do play you, you give me no choice but to keep you in the game.”
Wyoming basketball continues with practice in Laramie. They open up the season November 7th at home against Colorado Christian.
