The Wyoming Cowboy football team is coming off of a loss for the first time this season. The Pokes were off to their first 4-0 start in 25 years, but dropped their Mountain West opener last Saturday at Air Force. Wyoming senior wide receiver Ayden Eberhardt believes that the sting of a loss can be motivation for them to not go through that again. Eberhardt says he’s watched the Air Force game film three times now to see what they need to do to fix things that weren’t working. But, the sting of this loss still sticks with him, and he doesn’t want to feel that again.
“After a game, the feelings and emotions are all there, for sure. But just to wake up, and live through that again, and let that sting burn a little bit more, you never want that taste in your mouth. So, just to feel it a little bit more, maybe a little bit stronger, and again, just so we can come back out and fix what needs to be fixed.”
Wyoming is back on the field this weekend, as they host Fresno State Saturday afternoon in Laramie. Kickoff is set for 1:30 pm.
