While I was looking at all the cool stuff in an outdoors mega-store, wishing I had money to buy some of it, I ran across some things I didn’t expect to see there. One of those was a rack full of camouflage lingerie. Don’t get me wrong, I kind of like the idea of this. My favorite color is camo, after all. But I don’t think I’d want my wife to wear camo lingerie. If she’s wearing lingerie, I’m going to want to be able to find her.
Over on another side of the store, there was a full section devoted to clothing with specialized pockets to hold your concealed carry gun. They had vests, jackets, parkas, and even shirts and underwear that had compartments made to safely and securely hold a gun and keep it out of sight.
That got me thinking. I wondered what it would look like if Victoria’s Secret got involved in the concealed carry movement. That segment of the market is really expanding, so why wouldn’t the leader in women’s underthings want to jump on the bandwagon?
They just recently released their camo lines, even if they were probably several years late on that trend. They might as well do both at the same time. They could make women’s underwear that would conceal self-defense firearms, and they could offer them in Realtree and Mossy Oak options. I think it’d be a big hit.
After looking at the Thunderwear men’s shorts in the concealed carry section of the outdoors store, I even came up with a name for Victoria’s Secret if they start offering these types of garments. They could call them ThunderThongs. Or maybe the GunderBra. Sales would be epic, I’m sure, especially in this part of the country. You might think I’m crazy, but just wait. It’s only a matter of time.
