This Wonder is a breathtaking vantage point, to view other Wonders.  It’s one of the most popular overlooks in Yellowstone National Park, located on the left bank of the Yellowstone River, just down from Lower Falls.  It provides a spectacular view of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.  One can look 800-feet down and take in the splendor of cascading water and falls, and a canyon that is resplendent in color.  Look up and one can gaze upon a 500-ton boulder, deposited there by a mighty glacier, some 15-thousand years ago.  This massive rock originated 30 miles to the north in the Beartooth Mountains.

The sights and the sounds here are simply “inspirational”, at Inspiration Point.

It’s a crowd-pleaser that draws a great deal of tourist interest, that can literally take your breath away.  It’s a north-rim vista that has served as a location for many an artist’s brush, photographer’s lens, and sightseer’s delight.  It’s a spot that is so impressive, it often leaves its visitors not only breathless, but speechless as well.  Inspiration Point, a Wonder of Wyoming.
