Some players are ready for it, others want to continue playing, but the Wyoming Cowboys are in their bye week. It is a chance to get some nicks and bruises and nagging injuries healed up. The Cowboys are pretty healthy overall, and at 4-0 for the first time since 1996, still have everything in front of them. Quarterback Sean Chambers would rather get back on the field and play, as wasn’t thrilled with his performance in last Saturday’s win at UCONN. That win didn’t sit well with him, and he wants to be back out there this Saturday, and prove what they can do.

“I know a lot of people in that locker room probably want the bye week, because it gets their bodies healed up,” said Chambers. “I want to go back out there. Although we got the W (at UCONN), this one doesn’t sit well with me. I just want to go back out there and prove to everybody what we can do, and just get into conference play, and start. But, we have the bye week, we’re going to utilize it, so it is what it is.”

The Cowboys are going to open up Mountain West play October 9th at Air Force.
