Wyoming officials are investigating the death of a 16-year-old whose body had no apparent signs of trauma.
The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports (http://bit.ly/1twa86U ) that Kayden Quinn Tapia’s body was found by passers-by on the Snake River dike Tuesday morning.
Teton County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Tom Combs says there is much left to investigate.
He says the witnesses who found Tapia’s body also saw four teens leaving the scene in a hurry. The teens were known to be friends of Tapia and were questioned Tuesday. They will be questioned again.
Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue says Tapia’s cause of death is still pending and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
Combs says authorities took unspecified evidence from the scene and impounded two vehicles parked in the area.
