A passing weather system and monsoonal moisture will continue to be the main weather features across the state of Wyoming today. Expect cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with some areas of patchy fog. Rain showers and thunderstorms will also be likely, especially across western, central, and southern portions of the state. Heavy rain and possible flash flooding will be the main concerns today, but there could be hail and gusty winds with any storm that develops. Temperatures will also be cool and well below normal statewide, with daytime highs in the 60’s and 70’s. Another slow-moving weather system will continue to interact with monsoonal moisture on Thursday and Friday. We will see partly to mostly cloudy skies and a good chance for rain showers and thunderstorms. There will also be another chance for heavy rain, possible flash flooding, hail, and gusty winds. Temperatures, however, will become warmer and closer to average during this time, with daytime highs in the 70’s and 80’s.
